For the Love of Dancing, For the Love of Nike

I never was engaged in sports. I don't have hand-eye coordination. I will definitely hit myself, someone or something else first before actually hitting a ball.

...and what better way to do it than to put on sneakers and clothes from Nike :) I am obsessed with the dance line they have. Nike can get you sizzling hot from your head, down to your pointed toes. They're so sexy you can wear them out, even if you're not in a studio!

Nike has a Cheerleading line!!! Not out here in the Philippines yet, but I'm planning to have a pair shipped. :

For the mean time, here are my Cheerleading/Training shoes. Just got them a month ago on sale!

Not Just Flirts in Skirts

I am a cheerleader and I'm very passionate about it... been one since college and I feel very grateful I'm still "flying".

Typical introduction of a friend to a stranger:

Friend: "This is Karla, she's a cheerleader."

Stranger: "Ah, so you're being thrown up in the air?"
Karla: "Yes!"

Stranger: "How exciting! You're perfect 'cause of your size..."

(SILENCE)

Karla: "Ah... Thanks?"

FYI: Cheerleading is a sport. Cheerleaders are not just for entertainment! We get injured way more than other athletes. Yes, WE ARE ATHLETES. We practice at least 3 hours a day, 6 days a week, 12 months in a year for a two and a half minute routine. Girls are tossed up 20 feet in the air. Men carry people, not weights, in one hand... plus we do all these smiling and with poise. Can Tiger Woods do that? I don't think so. :p

i just want to get rid of stress, to express myself and be thankful for everything i have - work, money (of course. hehe...), family, friends and most of all, experiences. i have gone through life-altering, mind-boggling situations because of l.o.v.e. which i could say almost everyone my age had a taste of...
